Mickey Arthur Was Named Head Coach of The Rangpur Riders

Mickey Arthur has been named the Rangpur Riders’ new head coach. Starting on November 26, the 56-year-old will lead the team from the Global Super League. He will also lead Rangpur in the Bangladesh Premier League this season.

Arthur most recently played for the Lanka Premier League’s Dambulla Aura side. He currently serves as the director of cricket for Derbyshire. In the past, Arthur served as the head coach of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and South Africa.

“We have signed Mickey Arthur for the GSL and BPL this year,” stated Shanian Taneem, the team director for Rangpur. “The agreement is for a year.

He will look after us for these two competitions this year. He is a fantastic asset to our team. The local athletes are thrilled to have him as their coach. For the past seven or eight days, we have communicated with Mickey to assemble the GSL and BPL teams.

He is usually happy to assist us and is quite active. In my opinion, he seems ideal for the culture of the Rangpur Riders. He is an amiable man. He will be especially helpful to the cricket players from Bangladesh.

He has a great deal of experience. He has already handled the international sides of Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Pakistan. Additionally, Arthur has coaching experience in the BPL, having done so in 2015 with the Dhaka Dynamites.
